dhiggi
Current lockdown restrictions in the UK mean we can’t get to the coast, but we’re lucky enough to live with walking distance of a river with plenty to find. Today was a productive day, we found lots of rugose coral, some stigmaria. Can anyone shed any light on the first specimen (top and bottom in first two pictures,) some kind of stigmaria too? Also, can anyone identify the impressions in the second specimen?
Strepsodus
I think the one on the second photo may be Bothrodendron.
TqB
The shell impressions are spiriferid brachiopods. Here's a fresh bit from Weardale (with other types as well). 3 Tarquin

Oh wow, lovely example. Mine was from just a little further down the Wear. In your experience are the fossils in better condition the further upstream you go? I think mine is Rookhope Shell Bed (there are others) - actually a sandy/silty limestone that becomes decalcified near the surface to produce these moulds. Most of my Weardale stuff is river worn, like yours, the corals providing material for cutting and polishing. 1 Tarquin
