Evening all. I don't think any of these warrants its own post, as they're just "unusual rocks" that I picked up on the Suffolk beach in the UK I comb regularly. I appreciate any and all input.

1- Is the shape of banded chert, without the bands. :Confused05:

2- Is suggestive of a horn coral. I have doubts about it though. It may be a spheroid mineral inclusion.

3- I think is an ammonite fragment. One side shell, the other suture. You might want to wait for a second opinion though.

I agree that (1) is a banded flint.

(2) is indeed a sponge.

I don't know about (3).
