I’m currently trying to identify most of my complete teeth and came across this one. The closest thing I could find is Alopias?

Thank you for confirmation. Threshers are my favorite extant sharks and am glad I found at least one.

Here’s another one that has me stumped. It has a very strange cusplet. Is it pathological?

That is an interesting little tooth. Is the side where the "cusp" is broken? Or is the tooth complete? I am getting a patho vibe from it.  @Al Dente @siteseer @MarcoSr

It’s definitely broken but the cusp is nearly complete.

I agree with Eric.  Not seeing compound serrations in the pictures, it looks like G. aduncus versus G.  cuvier.  The below picture shows the compound serrations in an extant G. cuvier tooth.

13. Looking at the identification sheet that comes with it, it has similarities to the Prickly Shark (Echinorhinus), but I’m not sure.

With teeth that incomplete, it's impossible to say with any certainty.  You start talking "probably" and "maybe."  The second one is not an Echinorhinus but probably a Carcharhinus.  Echinorhinus has more flattened teeth.

Two more today, and as always would really appreciate your (anyone’s) opinion on these.

The first of the two, I am unsure if it is even a shark tooth. It’s unlike any I have found so far.

The next one, I’m hoping for it to be a cookie cutter shark tooth but I know those are uncommon and this one is incomplete.

It looks like the crown from a Dasyatis tooth.

Definitely looks like it, thank you. It amazes me how you can identify parts of teeth when there are hundreds of different kinds and hundreds of ways it can be broken.

Yup. Concur that it is the crown from a breeding male (pointed tip) dasyatid.

I'd say more rare than uncommon (at Lee Creek). Isistius teeth are very flat with a squarish root and triangular root which is bilobed and there is a nutrient pore on the lingual side of the root just below the blade. The blades themselves are quite flat and often have translucent material along the edges.

Isistius_triangulus.jpg

Your mystery tooth above looks too thick and seems more like one of the tiny oddly shaped symphyseal teeth of one of the larger shark species. Not seeing any indications that it is a Cookiecutter. They do occur in that formation but are vanishingly rare (but don't let that stop you from searching). ;)

Cheers.
