Harry Pristis
Ursus americanus My experience is, any bear material is hard to find, and a juvenile jaw is rare indeed! Nice find! http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest
Guest Nicholas
I second that, Bears are one of my favorite animals and when I first developed an interest in fossils I first went to bears. I found it very hard to find anything in North America and even though I could search out Bear fossils in Europe they still seemed very hard to come by and thus expensive. Excellent find.
