Meganeura
Hey everyone! Found this astragalus this past weekend. Not sure if it’s deer or peccary, or if it’s too worn to tell for sure. Measures 38mmx19mm @Harry Pristis @Shellseeker Fossils? I dig it.
Rockwood
The condition makes comparison difficult, but I can't make it a match for a deer astragalus.

Yeah it seems to elongated to be deer, but as I don't have a deer astragalus to compare to on hand, I didn't want to rule anything out. It does seem to match peccary, but per your point - poor condition makes it harder. Fossils? I dig it.

Harry Pristis
For comparison: 2 http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest

Then I do believe it's Peccary - not sure of any other similarly shaped astragalii. Well, besides cattle/bison, but I know this is too small for Bison, and it's definitely fossilized. Fossils? I dig it.
