Not even consensus of the relationship of modern families of these critters. Were there also brachs, bryozoa, etc.? That's a good research specimen even if not all that aesthetic in appearance. Having said that, does anyone do much research on them? There are whole classes and phyla of fossil animals...hydrozoans, tabulate corals, stromatolites, groups of sponges, groups of Bryozoa, etc. that get lumped up into general identifications. A lot of it done decades ago and not touched since. If more specimens, be interesting for someone to do a thin section of one.
