Possible fish ?

Is this a part of a fish ?

Or only an ammonite or something else...?

I find it in Holzmaden.

I don't think it is fish.

I am not seeing evidence of individual scales, as one would expect from a fish.

Looks like maybe an ammonite crushed from the top down?

Maybe a local can help you with ID.

I agree it's a bit of ammonite, looks like Phylloceras (and a harpoceratid on the left).
