Leptomeryx (Oligocene Mammalia)

I'm looking for confirmation on this.  I think it is Leptomeryx. The two occlusal views are the same but with different lighting.  The other photos are labial and lingual views of the jaw.

White River Group. Oligocene. Nebraska. Scale in cm/mm. Occlusal view not to scale.

I am not sure without my reference books, but Lept is a good guess... how about Hypisodus (but I think it is too big for that).

Thank you.  That does complicate things a little bit.  Not finding good pics of occlusal surfaces for Hypisodus. I hate to rely on probability for ID.  To the literature I go.... :yay-smiley-1:

It sure looks like it to me and a nice specimen.

Thanks, Ralph.  It is a rather nice, good size piece of jaw.:)

I also agree with JP , it looks way to big for Hypisodus, at least ones that I have seen.

No idea what it is but it's a lovely section of jaw. :)

That's a HAT?  I thought he had a bobcat perched on his head!

BTW...I agree with Leptomeryx.

Not a hat.

This is my sexy new toupee.

Which may, or may not, be bobcat.
