Fossil Sponges- Miami, Florida
My collection of prehistoric sponges. I believe that these specimens may encompass various periods, and their origin from the unique ecosystem of the Miami area, adjacent to the Everglades, could provide valuable insights into the biomineralization of sponges over time.

Unknown
I was given this by someone who thought it was Dino pooh. My 8 year old pointed out that it looks as if it's wrapped in something. If anyone has any input that would be appreciated. My apologies if it's not a fossil. I'm trying to figure it out.

Rock Collection
I'm new to the whole rock collecting thing. I don't have much knowledge on them either. I just pick up things that just seem to stand out or unique looking lol. These are just some I've picked up over the summer.

Petrified Toy?
What happened what I believe to be a piece of petrified wood. I have noticed that there are four different dinosaurs carved into this piece. Is it possible that this was carved into wood and then petrified over time?

Petrified Toy?
A piece of petrified wood that looks to have at least for different dinosaurs carved into it while it was still wood.
