Lee Creek/Aurora Micros
The Plague of 2020 brought travel challenges to most. Aurora Fossil Museum came up with a creative way to keep funds coming in and ease the hunting itch for so many fossil lovers: "Fossil Hunters' Emergency Survival Kits" filled with matrix from the Lee Creek Mine. I bought one, which amounted to about two gallons of micro matrix. Herein lay close to 1,000 shark teeth and other things I have not begun to count. But, These photos are a start.

My fossil collection
My fossil collection consists of many devonian fossils I found. I have tones of invertebrate fossils and track ways from Invertebrates and early triassic dinosauromorphs. I also have late triassic petrified wood. The petrified wood has beautiful textures from many elements like Carbon, iron oxides, manganese oxides, and silicon dioxide. Many of my fossils are on the older side the youngest fossil I have is 70 million years old. I'm only 19 so my fossil collection is not the largest or most impressive. But I'm proud of the specimens I've found. This hobby is constantly growing for me and I plan on sticking with it untill I die. I am studying geology/enviormental science in college.

Shells from the Pliocene era
These shells were found washed up on the Gold Coast beaches, in Qld, Australia in 2019.
Offshore dredging is the most likely cause for their appearance.
Many different types.
