Thanks Lance... these crinoids survived 6 min in an ultrasonic bath in 2 minute intervals with complete water change out.... all the mud and clay dissolved into a murky suspension leaving a clean specimen.... good way to dilute any acids in the fossil that should increase stability of pyrite in terms of preservation.
