balanocidaris Posted August 19, 2011 It seems that the fauna from Bulgary has a lot in common with Iberian one, both of them. So this one could be surely Codiopsis lorini (I don't know the size, if very big maybe could be C. alpina..) Bye! Link to comment

From the same place I have more than 30 Codiopsis, but this one is the biggest.... all other are more pentagonal and higher. Thanks for identification! I added two more pictures to acquire a clearer idea. Link to comment
balanocidaris Posted August 19, 2011 Ok, the small and round ones I bet that are also C. lorini... I have some a little bigger, some others quite pentagonal, yes, but more or less the same thing. And apart are others between 3 or 4 cm. very big! Those are C. alpina... Thanks to you for sharing those pics. Interesting to see Bulgarian fauna! cheers PD Try this at my web if you want, maybe there you can find some other coincidendes. ;-) http://erizosfosiles.jimdo.com/búsqueda-por-épocas/creta-pisos/aptiense/ Link to comment
