Cretodus Shark Tooth from Midlothian, Texas Quarry, Lingual surface

gwestbrook

My sole find at our quarry hunt last month. Thanks to VisionXRay23 and a couple of people on the hunt that day, I know it's a Cretodus tooth.

Thanks! Yes...a big ? I know nothing about shark teeth, so I'm open to suggestions as to what this is. :)

What is an Unk Shark. Is Unk short for...?

I had heard someone say Cretodus on the day I found it, so I guess that must be it. Thanks so much!

I'd say either a protolama or cretodus.
