Hexanchus/Notorynchus?

After the Galeocerdo Contortus discussion, I checked out Elasmo. Only to find Notorynchus has been X-ed from the fauna list. So maybe these are all Hexanchus teeth. Not many good ones found @ STH. So I'm not sure.

Yes, all the sixgill teeth from the STH bonebed fall within the morphological range of Hexanchus. Notorynchus does not have a Miocene record in California according to Bruce Welton's 1979 PhD dissertation.

That big symphyseal is a great specimen. Perhaps all but one I have ever seen have been small like the one next to it.
