Hello Vieira.

We don't know yet what animal that this tooth is from. I think it may be from a tiny mammal like a shrew or even a bat, but haven't been able to ID it yet. When we find out, we will change the caption and will let you know. We would love to see your photos, especially the one you say this looks like.

Hello Jullianna and Jill

I saw some similarities but maybe it's a teeth completely diferent...I can't identify this too...

I found 2 teeth in the same place, in Upper Jurassic from Lourinhã - Portugal.

I think my teeths are from a fish...

What you think?

Hello Vieira,

I can see where you saw similarities between our tooth finds. Those that you found are very interesting, and I don't have a clue what they could be from. I don't know very much about fossils from the Jurassic, (except that I'd like to hunt some ;) )   I don't all that much about the Pleistocene for that matter. I am still studying and trying to ID our finds.

I thank you for sharing them with us and I suggest that you ask in the IDs Forum. Maybe an expert there can give you a clue. It is so satisfying to get an ID. Seems challenging with the micros tho.
