Troodon Posted March 19, 2017 Beautiful tooth. These teeth have historically been sold as Pachycephalosaurus unfortunately it's not. It's a dentary tooth of Thescelosaurus. Still a gorgeous tooth. I came up with this guide to help tell the difference. 1 Link to comment
moriniboy Posted March 19, 2017 Hey thanks, I might have a few items but my knowledge needs a bit of improvement hence posting on here. Link to comment
Troodon Posted March 20, 2017 You've come to the right place to improve your knowledge and will help future purchases. Unfortunately sellers/ dealers are not a reliable source of good identifications. There are a lot of Dinosaur topics posted so try searching for them. My suggestion is, if you can, post an item before you buy. Link to comment
Dracorex_hogwartsia Posted March 25, 2017 Don't feel bad, everyone thought these were Pachycephalosaur teeth myself included. Yours is a real beauty. One of my favorite type of teeth. Link to comment
