A) a germ/developing tooth? It’s mostly hollowed out and looks like an enamel shell; B) a tooth of something - microraptorine?, it’s carinated, the mesial carina twists onto the lingual surface.

Disclaimer: I know virtually nothing about theropods

However, some still developing mammal molars I have found have similar texture to A.

Always neat seeing what y'all pull out of the Hell Creek fm. Thanks for sharing, and great album (and photos!).

Thanks, I'm fairly sure A is not a mammal, my best guess at the moment is a germ Thescelosaurus premaxillary tooth.

Ah that seems likely.  I wasn't suggesting it was mammal, I was just commenting on the enamel texture of developing teeth. :)

I'm not very good at stating what I mean, should have read what I wrote before I clicked 'submit comment' :oO:
