Fenestella Bryozoan on Native American Artifact
This is a unique piece, it is broken probably either a scraper or blank, with a couple of crinoid ossicle impressions and a nice Fenestella Bryozoan. The piece is worked bifacailly, and the stone is heat treated. It really makes the fossil pop against the background. Different angles showcase better how the fossil was likely intentionally left in place.
