this is a pic ive been trying to post in the id section.with no success.if anyone has any ideas?its 4in x 3/4in partially hollow,round in cross section.got it out of the peace river,arcadia,fl.

I think it may be an odontocete whale tooth . . . perhaps Kogiopsis.

The curve suggests a whale premolar and eliminates mastodon milk tusk.

The tooth still has a cementum jacket . . . often these appear as naked enamel cores with growth rings showing.

Lol Harry I first thought hey theres a tusk but I do believe you are right ahhhh 1 day I will get good at identification but until then I'm glad I have you guys to help lol
