Access to Official Posters

A question came up on another thread about posters that are presented at official meetings of professional societies. This was about a poster that was expected to be presented at the meeting of the GSA in Ft. Worth next year that I heard about. Someone asked how to go about getting a copy of the poster and I didn't know what to tell them. I have been sent links to posters before but other than asking the presenter I wonder if there is a normal channel for getting a link.
