I'm not an expert but it certainly has the elliptic shape of an Oak (Quercus), maybe even a Lithocarpus both which can have teeth on their margins. Where's it from? Location/Formation/Age? We might also have a subject matter expert on the forum more familiar with the area/material. (Latah, Clarkia, Payette, Trapper Creek, Thorn Creek, and Succor Creek are all well studied Miocene plant locales).
