The next is 2”. I was wondering if these are really big or more like above average? Thanks
caldigger
Above average. I have personally seen 3 1/4". I know there are larger than that. I was just posting Ken ( digit ) some of my teeth. Here was a true heartbreaker, a Carcharodon hastalis ( now removed from the Mako status, but many still refer to them as such ), if whole would have been close to the 3 3/8" range. Here it is next to a 3" I found last year. The labial side.
New Members FreshWaterSharK Posted February 15, 2020 Author New Members Share Posted February 15, 2020 I have a couple larger blades but they are completely missing the root and I didn’t include them in the pic, also found them in another location. I still think without the tip that’s a really nice tooth.

caldigger
There was a thread on the Forum called "3 inch Mako club" you could probably find some good sized samples posted on there.
