Auspex
Very beautiful! How long is it? There is no way to identify what kind of bird it came from. Some few have a feature (such as an 'after-shaft') that can suggest a Family, but most (like yours) are generic. With its asymmetrical vane, it appears to be a flight feather from a wing; possibly a secondary flight feather. 4 "There has been an alarming increase in the number of things I know nothing about." - Ashleigh Ellwood Brilliant “Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.” - Thomas Henry Huxley >Paleontology is an evolving science. >May your wonders never cease!
