I was just wondering if anyone knew of any exposures for the towaco formation in New Jersey. Any information would be appreciated! Thanks!

A person might compare geologic maps and Google Earth.

Hint: Look specifically at the locations where measured strike

and dips are indicated on the maps.

Geologic maps can be found online in "NJGS Geologic Map Series GMS":

https://www.state.nj.us/dep/njgs/pricelst/gmseries.htm

For example, the below maps show the distribution of the Towaco Formation:

NJGS Geologic Map Series GMS 10-1

NJGS Geologic Map Series GMS 04-2

For forum members, fossils from the Towaco Formation can be seen at:

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
