Amber: Rough To Polished

These pictures will give you an idea of the challenge in polishing a rather large (3") chunck of raw amber. I did it by hand with varying grit of sand paper and used my dremel only to remove the areas of stone matrix.

Chiapas Mexico....and it bothers me that I know what a horehound drop is! :P

Nice work, I'm shocked by the decrease in size... I didn't think you lost that much.

It's the camera angle. It's still about the same size.
