butchndad
Like all of us I pick up a lot of maybes/I don’t knows. I took this one home for a better look. With the loupe I think I see something and crab is my best guess. The whole piece is 1.5 inches. I don’t want to believe this is geologic. Your help greatly appreciated.

Rockwood
I think ghost shrimp are more common there at the very least.

The Jersey Devil
Nice find, pretty hard to find the Protocallianassa claws in more complete shape. You got one with 2 claw segments and pincers on the left of pic; there might be more to the specimen such as the other claw on the right (need to remove matrix). There is also a chance that the stuff on the right are worm burrows. 3 “You must take your opponent into a deep dark forest where 2+2=5, and the path leading out is only wide enough for one.” ― Mikhail Tal

Jeffrey P
Absolutely great find! However, it looks like it will be difficult to prepare. You may want to take it to a professional.

Nice to give my ghost shrimp a home of his own. 2 hours ago, Fossildude19 said: +1 for Ghost Shrimp. Nice find! jpc
Nice find. If it has a second pincer, it will be either bigger or smaller.
Top Trilo
You could enter it in the Fossil of the Month. There are no entries yet and this is a very cool fossil. “If fossils are not "boggling" your mind then you are simply not doing it right” -Ken (digit) "No fossil is garbage, it´s just not completely preserved” -Franz (FranzBernhard) "With hammer in hand, the open horizon of time, and dear friends by my side, what can we not accomplish together?" -Kane (Kane) "We are in a way conquering time, reuniting members of a long lost family" -Quincy (Opabinia Blues) "I loved reading the trip reports, I loved the sharing, I loved the educational aspect, I loved the humor.
