JohnJ Posted January 12, 2010 Share Posted January 12, 2010 The best fossil Find of the Month for December 2009 is the undescribed, new species of Codiopsis echinoid! Found by Dan Woehr in the Upper Cretaceous Corsicana Formation of Texas, it will be eventually be known by his name: Codiopsis woehri! Congratulations and thanks to Dan for sharing this unique discovery with the us. Also, thanks to the other members that shared their wonderful December finds with the Forum. We should have some news for the January contest this week. Thanks to all who voted!
