tombk Posted September 5, 2021 Share Posted September 5, 2021 I like these rocks that are made up mostly of fossils. I’ve seen them referred to as hash plates and coquinas. (Some people use the latter term also for rocks made of many separate mineral chunks cemented together in a matrix. Some people say the matrix needs to be limestone to be considered a coquina.)
