Raistlin
Is this a diatom found in Lee Creek material? Scale is mm. RobertSoutheast, MO
FranzBernhard
I think, thats to large for a diatom. Could it be a spicule of a sponge? Franz Bernhard 1
Raistlin
That was also a guess on Twitter. The shape seems right. At least from my Google search. I'm pretty excited by this find. I've never seen anything like this. 1 RobertSoutheast, MO

I was using a microscope (and believe it or not picked it up with tweezers somehow). This was found along with 4 tiny teeth so far in the dust and crumbs of the material. When I say dust that is really all you see with anything but a microscope. 1 RobertSoutheast, MO
