I'm just wondering if an Ampelosaurus tooth has ever been sold to a private collection. Any information on that is much appreciated.

I don't think any Ampelosaurus remains are/were for sale;

the only easy-to-find Ampelosaurus (in France at least)  is this one, but don't overdo it :heartylaugh::
