New Members Steve549 Posted February 6, 2022 New Members Share Posted February 6, 2022 Any help or advice gratefully received - to ID this fossil - or even if it is a fossil. An elderly friend of mine found this in the east of Spain where he lives, sitting on the surface of a field. He thinks it may be a fossil, but doesn't know where to start and neither do I. It is 25 cm long and at its widest part it is 12cm wide. It appears to have different layers of some sort of hard deposit - it all feels like quite hard, even the outer parts. Thanks in advance and sorry for wasting your time if this is in fact a fossil at all.
