Recently bought this Otodus tooth from morocco. The tag said that this is a Otodus sokolovi, but I don’t know what is the difference between auriculatus and sokolovi or maybe thay are the same species?

Besides, if we don’t know where the teeth came from, what is the difference between auriculatus and angustidens?

The tooth is probably an Otodus sokolovi from Boujdour, Western Sahara, Morocco.   The Gueran deposits are middle to late eocene and the attached paper indicates O. sokolovi are present.  O. auriculatus are early/middle eocene.
