New Members Amandaisaprinsiss Posted March 13, 2022 New Members Share Posted March 13, 2022 someone in a local group posted that she found a fossilized almond, it will be the first picture, it made me think of a couple of unidentified fossils I’d kept in my “MYSTERY JAR” I’m new to this area of the world, so I’ve got a lot of new geology to learn, from glacier till, off the Lim Fjord in North Jutland Denmark
Mark Kmiecik
I don't think it is an almond. Looks geological to me. The second photo with three specimens is what appear to be a mollusc impression (middle one) and mollusc cross-sections (the other two). I'm by no means an expert so wait for others to chime in as well. 1 3 Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them! Ludwigia
The almond is on the right. The stone is on the left. 1 1 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
