Arizona Tooth or Brachiopod Indian Gardens Paleo Site

Wow you guys were quick with the response to my last post, Thank you

 

Seems as if there were only Brachiopods at this site but we found something that resembles a tooth, I have my doubts as it may just be a piece of an Antrhocospirifer ociduus just wanted to confirm.

 

on the right of final photo is how we found it on the ground.

Can't seem to find this one I think we gave it to a subscriber, here are a couple more similar ones we found at the same time.

No, not horn coral, sorry, my mistake.  These pictures look more like pieces of a crinoid (at least the two middle ones).  Look at the lower left of slide 7 in presentation here for an example of what I think I'm seeing.

Never seen horn coral there, although it is not impossible. They really look like the spines (anal?) of crinoids that are moderately common there. Look for the perfect cleavage of calcite since each spine is composed of a single crystal of calcite.
