Pliosaur or Polycotylid tooth?

Hi,

Just wanted confirmation about whether this tooth from Morocco is Pliosaur or Polycotylid. The crown is somewhat small, but there are still striations on it. I lean towards Pliosaur but I'm not 100% sure at this point. Thank you!

Hi Michael,

Saw this one... Looks a bit beaten up and it sure whether it can be cleaned up any further, but it's definitely a pliosaur tooth.

Cheers,

Alexander.

Thanks! Once again you have helped me, I don't know what I would do when it comes to buying Pliosaur teeth if I didn't have your help :). It certainly is a bit damaged and doesn't have good preservation, but it is quite large (though it is mostly the root).

Thanks again Alexander!!

For the sake of record-keeping, here are the photographs of the pliosaur tooth again, including an additional one from the back-side. Length is 8cm.
