megateeth
Once again the Tampa Fossil Fest was one of the nicest fossil shows of the year. Many of the dealer displays were similar to last year so I focused on the member collections when taking photos this year. These collections are amazing. These photos do not do them justice and to really appreciate them you need to see them in person. You just have to be there. Michael Searle, Tamps Fossil Club President said I should feel free to post photos of the member collection displays. If anyone does not want photos of their display posted online feel free to e-mail me at bill@megateeth.com and I will remove it asap. megateeth
Some of that stuff blew me away. The last two photos were from Frank Garcia's collection and if I read it right all was real. I can only imagine some of what he has found. Megateeth Fossils - Megalodon Teeth, Other Shark Teeth and Info about Megalodon shark tooth collecting. donapplianceman
Excelent pics. That's a really nice megalodon tooth your holding. I've wanted to get one myself for my collection, but they're so expensive ($600+) I have a friend Who is diving in the Carolinas. He Said he's keeping an eye out for any for me. I participated in a rock show here in NM last august or september. I had a crystal display from my private museum collection. I enjoyed it very much It was My first time displaying at a show. That is a friend of mine holding that tooth. It is one that I found that had a broken root and he restored it. He does an amazing job on them.
