New Members Tward Posted April 4, 2022 New Members Share Posted April 4, 2022 (edited) Hi, I'm wondering if anyone would be able to help me ID this? I found it on the coast of the Menai strait on a very rocky beach, between mainland wales and anglesey. It is 11cm long as seen in the photographs. Thanks, Toby Edited April 4, 2022 by Tward
westcoast
It is a lovely rugose coral, probably from Carboniferous period, around 330 million years old. 1
Tidgy's Dad
Yes, a rather nice Early Carboniferous horn coral, maybe something like Dibunophyllum. Cymru am byth!
