erose
No, but very interesting. You’re going to have to give us more info about where it was found to get past just interesting.

Can you take a few from side angles. This may be a trilobite trace fossil... that is the marks left in the bottom of the mud when a trilobite passed by. Or something else. Fossildude19
Posting your phone number on a public Forum is probably not the best idea. We are interested in it, we just don't believe it is a skeleton or human or alien fossil. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 IPFOTM -- MAY - 2024 _________________________________________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Bobby Rico
This reminds me of a story, back in 1842 on a plantation in Alabama . Cotton workers unearthed a huge skeleton The bones of a giant whale a leviathan called Basilosaurus cetoides . From Eocene period a time when all of Alabama was covered with deep water. The plantation workers looked at the huge bones and they thought this must be the bones of a fallen angel . Your find is interesting but not an alien or tiny person. 4
Tidgy's Dad
Cruziana from Missouri : At least some similarity, I'd say. Longest track is 1.3 inches. Kansas City, seller said it was from a burrowing trilobite, not sure how true that could be. Edited April 22, 2022 by Tidgy's Dad 7 3 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend. Auspex
My first thought was an infilled burrow, too. 1 "There has been an alarming increase in the number of things I know nothing about." - Ashleigh Ellwood Brilliant “Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.” - Thomas Henry Huxley >Paleontology is an evolving science. >May your wonders never cease! Ludwigia
I think that Tidgy's Dad may have hit the nail on the head. Auspex
It's wicked cool, for sure! Try to imagine the arthropod that was mucking-about in the mud, and the processes that allow us to see the results today! 3 "There has been an alarming increase in the number of things I know nothing about." - Ashleigh Ellwood Brilliant “Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.” - Thomas Henry Huxley >Paleontology is an evolving science. >May your wonders never cease! Like I said I'm sorry I don't have a very good camera but if you were holding it like I am you can see said you see says draw bone hinge joints and you'd also be able to tell that it's laying face down and you can see not only the spinal column but you can see the little bumps where the ribcage actually connected to spinal column you can see the color bone in a pelvic bone you can even see the hinge use the ankle so if you just wanna come look at it just let me know when I'll make arrangements to meet up with you
ScottBlooded
If this is a trilobite ichnofossil I am so profoundly jealous. They’re so incredibly cool, really a unique window into animal behavior you can’t otherwise get from the fossil of the animal itself. Truly brings them to life.

Just imagine how much cooler it would be if you truly did eliminate everything else and it did wind up being an alien skeleton.
Ludwigia
I would suggest you take this rock to your nearest museum and let the resident paleontologist explain to you what it is. 1 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. It would be very unusual for ribs to be well defined but not the verts.

Mahnmut
Hi Kyleamartin, your photos are not that bad, they do show a lot of detail. And the overall impression of the fossil is astonishingly close to some humanoid skeleton shape, its a really cool coincidence, and a real fossil of something else. I would have loved to find it. Like the sea urchin that made a beautiful impression of a chameleon in this post: http://www.thefossilforum.com/index.php?/topic/109449-hearne-bay-uk-skull-impression/ But the detail does not fit. A potato that looks like Elvis is a remarkable find, but still a potato. A fossil potato that looks like Elvis is a really nice find, but no proof for Rock and roll in the palaeozoic.
