PODIGGER
I am hoping for confirmation from one of our Peace River, FL experts on a bone I picked up last week. I am always looking for new land mammal finds (at least new to me) and I think I have one here. After several hours on line and looking through Kocisis' Vertebrate Fossils guide I believe I have nailed this down as a seismoid, lateral malleolar of Hemiauchenia macrocephala. The protruding "point" is quite distinctive. The specimen measures 35mm Long x 17 mm Wide x 28 mm tall. Input from anyone who believes they can confirm the ID would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

PODIGGER
@Harry Pristis here’s another bone I picked up the same day that I believe is a match for your gallery photo of a camel unciform. Do you think it’s a match? It measures 60mm x 30mm x 25 mm

PODIGGER
Thanks for your response. I'm going to try and re-do the photos, they may be too close for a good perspective.
Harry Pristis
See if these images help you identify your find: 1 http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest
PODIGGER
Thanks for the photo array Harry. Based on these photos I would have to say my find doesn’t match. At it’s widest point mine is only about half of your examples size and it is too uniform in width overall.
