Any advise, help, direction in identification of strange rock that appears to have been some biological creature.

Under digital magnification there are impressions of theet , jaw line, decomposition of tissue ( best guess)  spin or skeletal structure and of course the ugliest skin/scale ive seem

Sorry, but I am not seeing anything fossil related here.

Appears to me to be a chunk of mudstone or limestone.

Can you explain what it is about this piece makes you think it is a fossil?

The photos are terrible. As bad as mine!

But I see nothing to support an organic origin to this piece.

Thank you. Yesterday i came across types of limstone and it certainly answers questions on another item i have . pattern structure , color etc.. Mudstone ill look into next.  Thats why i joined. Someone could point me in right direction. Im here to learn more than i know. Newbie.

I have better photos with regards to my inturputation in being a fossil. Randomly selecting everything but a zoomed photo of what i thought might be teeth of various size in and around an area (again) i thought might be a jaw line. I guess possibly crystal formation. Little clear crsystal like spiky, pointed (some broke) teeth. Nevetheless, im sure your suggestions are more accurate as i plan to now follow up on mudstone..

Looking forward learning and seeing lots cool stuff here

Cheers

Teeth would have enamel, and be set into a jaw.

Jawbone would have bone texture, and jawbone morphology.

None of which am I seeing in your item. :(
