New Members GrannyRaeRae Posted May 14, 2022 New Members Share Posted May 14, 2022 Hocking Hills, Ohio Hopefully these are clearer pics. I have too many to upload all so I included pics of vertebrates where they were squished. A couple pics of skin and tongues also. I really appreciate everyone’s opinions, thanks! Lone Hunter
Sorry but these are also just rocks, definitely no vertebra or tongues and if that is skin it's from something recent.
Tidgy's Dad
There seem to be a couple of nice crystals in one of the photos in the middle. The rocks are just rocks and the hairy things don't appear to be fossilized at all. Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.

New Members GrannyRaeRae Posted May 14, 2022 Author New Members Share Posted May 14, 2022 Pics don’t do them justice, it’s hard to see details. You can see the tongue on the underside of one. Thanks

Tidgy's Dad
It's a rock. You are suffering from pareidolia. I don't think I've ever seen a fossilized tongue in rock in fifty+ years of collecting and studying fossils. Look it up on the internet. You are letting your imagination run away with you, I'm afraid. What evidence do you have to support your claim? Life's Good! Tortoise Friend. Lone Hunter
Those are not teeth, sorry, compare them to teeth seen in other posts.
Thomas.Dodson
I agree with the others on various rocks I'm afraid. The squished remains appear to be half-rotten leaves.
