Crazyhen
This hatchling was found at Fuyuan of Yunnan Province, China. It looks like Keichousaurus but it has a distinctly rounder skull, longer neck and a shorter tail. Could it be the hatchling of another species like Dianopachysaurus dingi? I also attach a typical Keichousaurus hatchling for easy comparison.
Danielb
Hi that is definitely some kind of reptile not sure if it’s keichousaurus. I am sorry no one else responded to this. Either way it’s a very cool and rare fossil
Roses
Late to the party but I think it’s a Keichousaurus. The skull does look more squat than usual, but it may be rotated upward slightly which could cause a bit of foreshortening. I don’t see the “horns” (retroarticular processes) which suggests they are buried in matrix (because the back of the skull is lower than the front). I count ~25 cervical vertebrae which is typical for Keichousaurus, it may just look longer because the front legs are buried.
