Sacha
I ventured out on the holiday weekend, against my better judgement, to give the Zolfo Springs stretch another try. Turned out to be much better than I expected.....traffic was minimal and only a few others in the section I wanted to work in. Fairly productive day (for me) as well which was a pleasant surprise. The one item that is new for me is the astragalus (I assume) with the added projection. I figured Harry @Harry Pristis could give me an ID, but if anyone is available on this holiday that knew who it is from, I'd appreciate it. Lorne Ledger
That astragalus is a carnivore, looks cat-ish to me
jcbshark
Can't help with the ID but nice finds John 1 Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!
Harry Pristis
I agree with Lorne Ledger -- it's from a carnivore, though I can't say which one. My only dire wolf specimen (below) is not in good condition, and I don't think I have a cat specimen. Good find! If you are willing to trade for it, let me know. Harry, If you're interested in it, I'll send it to you. It's an interesting find, but if it's fits with what you have I'll give it up. PM me your address again. 1

Family Fun
Well done Sacha, I would have done the same. It’s a thrill finding them, identifying them and then sharing. Rick
