FF7_Yuffie
Found: Baker County, Montana 9.5 cm Label says Tyrannosaurus but with a question mark. So, is it Tyrannosaur, or even Theropod? So many of these bone pieces labelled tyrannosaur actually turn out to be Edmontosaurus. I am guessing narrowing it down to T-Rex would be very unlikely and difficult? Thanks for the help. pachy-pleuro-whatnot-odon
Well, at least the bone's hollow. Which increases the chances of it being theropod at least. But I guess we'll need to wait for someone more experienced with dinosaur material to come by to say whether this piece can, at all, be identified. I suspect it might be, seeing as there's an epiphysis, which is one of the more diagnostic parts of a long-bone.
