Devonian Identification

I have some pictures of some things I found, however I’m unsure what I found, it seems oddly symmetrical to be nothing so I wanted a second opinion!

I see some interesting-shaped rocks with some colorful mineral staining, but no fossils.

There may be slightly more than staining there, but I agree that this is not a recognizable fossil.

I think that there was a tiny fracture in this rock and the minerals seeped in causing the staining. 

When the rock was broken open, it naturally split along this weakness line revealing the mineral stain.

Do you mean source? 

If so, I don't get it. What is the source?

Yes. I guess spell check just gave up on me and said go for it.  

Here is what looks like a mineral inclusion to me.

Maybe. 

But I just think that's staining along a bedding plane or two.
