is this tooth in bone

Hello, I was going through some of the fossils I found at Ramenissan Brook last year to sort them before I go to penn dixie fossil park, and I found this tooth I thought was coming out of rock, but now I think it might be coming out of bone as I see it in different light. I was hoping someone would be able to help me identify it.

I'd like to see a better lit photo looking directly down on the "teeth" - could just be a root with cusps, which is what I suspect.
