Hey guys and gals, found what might be a fossil here in the thumb of Michigan, could any of you humor me as to what it might be a fossil of if it is even a fossil? Thank you for your time!

Rather nice and water-tumbled solitary rugose 'horn coral'.

Agreed. Coral. From the shore of Lake Huron? Look around where you found that one. Usually, where you find one there's many more. Michigan's Great Lakes shorelines are teeming with those. They make for some really beautiful fossils when polished.
