MrBones
Hello all. I just got back from an open day at a gem and mineral club. I picked up some fossils while I was there. Unfortunately, the mineral guys aren't so knowledgeable on fossils, so many were mislabelled and dont have information on them. I would love it if you guys could help me out. Ammonite from Morocco Two ammonites that come from Chile, I think... And lastly an urchin that came with no information
Tidgy's Dad
The top one looks like a Triassic Ceratites spinosus from Germany. I don't know if they occur in Morocco. The last one looks like a chalk Conulus sp. Edited June 4, 2022 by Tidgy's Dad 1 1 2 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
Ludwigia
That last ammonite looks like an Amaltheus sp. The 2nd one may be an Arnioceras sp., but I'm not at all sure about that. 3 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. I suspected that it was from Europe. It looks a lot like some French ammonites that I've seen.
