RandyB
I was looking through all the bone fragments my wife and I found in Aurora, NC recently and noticed 2 of the pieces had evenly spaced notches along one side. The only thing I could think of is split jawbone fragments. Thoughts?
Tidgy's Dad
Bits of worn stingray tail barbs, maybe? Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.

shark57
Definitely worn odontocete jaw sections. Those shallow evenly spaced depressions are what the tooth sockets look like when a dolphin jaw splits apart and gets water-worn. 1
