Done Drillin
Found this half tooth last week in the Peace River and despite pouring over all my reference books can’t come up with a decent identification. Appears to be a worn carnivore tooth (?) to me is all I have....... It has a distinctive concavity on the distal aspect of the remaining root and appears to have worn cusps when viewed from the side. I apologize for the less than stellar photography. Many thanks !
Harry Pristis
It appears to me to be half of a senile carnivoran (fox? canis?) lower carnassial (m1).) 2 http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest
